DJ Switch garnered international attention for her advocacy during the #EndSARS protests in Nigeria.

DJ Switch, actual name Obianuju Catherine Udeh, a popular Nigerian disc jockey and activist, has criticized Pastor Adeboye’s recent declaration of trust in President-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s ability to rebuild Nigeria with God’s aid.
Pastor Adeboye had urged Nigerians to pray for the next administration, hoping that God would provide Tinubu with the grace to repair the country.
DJ Switch responded on Twitter by criticizing Pastor Adeboye’s quietness throughout the election when his voice may have made a difference.
She accused him of only coming out now because his friend Tinubu is about to be elected president, and she chastised him for using prayers to God to cover up his prior passivity.
She wrote, “Daddy Adeboye seems to have found the voice he lost when Nigerians were suffering suppression and violence from his best friends in the APC! Now god wants to help tinubu fix Nigeria? One day, una go show us the particular god wey una dey refer to Know for yourself!”
It’s worth remembering that DJ Switch rose to worldwide prominence for her activism during the #EndSARS protests in Nigeria, where she utilized her platform to capture and share live footage of the rallies with the rest of the world.
Her boldness and action at the time made her a voice for Nigerian young and a beacon of hope for the future.
