The name of the sound designer has been added to the list of nominees.

The organisers of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards moved to address problems within 24 hours of Kolapo Morakinyo calling out Nollywood filmmakers Funke Akindele and JJC Skillz.
On Tuesday, Morakinyo tweeted that the celebrity couple did not properly recognise him for his work on the sound editing of their multi-award-winning film “Omo Ghetto: The Saga.” Also, someone else was nominated for the AMVCA’s Best Sound Editor category in his place.
Morakinyo’s complaint appears to have piqued the attention of the award’s organisers, as the category on their official website has been amended with his name.
Morakinyo revealed in his tweets that he worked at the couple’s Amen Estate studio on a tremendously tight schedule.
“Even though the delivery format format we required for our work was messed up by their Picture Editor and I had to work from Amen Estate residence to resolve this issue. We finished the project, sent to the cinemas and got beautiful reviews about the sound production of the movie.”
The sound designer also revealed that he was not given credit for the Netflix version. The Bellos have yet to respond to Morakinyo’s tweets in public.
