The album “Made in Lagos” is the first from Africa to spend 100 weeks at the top of the Billboard world album chart. This accomplishment was made during the chart week ending on October 15, 2022.

Due to this amazing achievement, the record will soon begin a run on the charts that will last two years.

The first Nigerian album to spend several weeks at number one was “Made in Lagos,” which spent three weeks at the top of the Billboard World Album Chart.

The album also set a record for the longest-running Nigerian project in the history of the chart. It surpasses Fela’s “The Black President,” which topped the charts for 45 weeks.

Another accomplishment for the wildly popular “Made In Lagos,” which has broken multiple records and won countless awards, is that it spent 100 weeks at the top of the Billboard World Album Chart.
