Tinubu Elects Gbenga Alade New CEO of AMCON 

In anticipation of the Nigerian Senate’s confirmation, President Bola Tinubu has approved the selection of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) management team.

The President’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, made this announcement on Thursday. He said that Aminu Ismail, Adeshola Lamidi, and Lucky Adaghe are the executive directors of the team, and Gbenga Alade serves as managing director and CEO.

According to the presidential aide, Tinubu expects the new appointees to exhibit unwavering professionalism, dedication, and dutifulness in order to ensure that AMCON operations become more transparent and efficient, in keeping with the administration’s resolve to sanitize the country’s financial system to maximize value.

The president anticipates that the management team will increase investor confidence in the Nigerian economy, according to Ngelale, who was also quoted in the statement.
