On January 4, 2022, NBC will air the sixth and final season of This is Us (called “The Final Chapter”).

It’s nearly time to say farewell to the family who has made the world cry for the past five years. The sixth and final season of NBC’s smash show This Is Us has released a trailer.
The trailer is only a teaser for what we already know is coming: a last, deeply emotional excursion through the Pearson family’s past. It begins with Kate (Chrissy Metz) singing Cindy Lauper’s “Time After Time” while we witness scenes with the present and past families. One of the trailer’s highlights is a dramatic phrase spoken by present-day Rebecca (Mandy Moore) as she braces herself for the onset of her Alzheimer’s disease: “I’m not worried about forgetting the big stuff. It’s the little things I’m not ready to let go of yet.”
The show emphasizes the value of minor moments in life and memories that appear insignificant but end up defining who we are and our relationships. So, the decision to let Rebecca suffer the loss of that is daring from a screenplay standpoint, but painful for everybody who sees.
Dan Fogelman (Crazy Stupid Love) created This is Us, which aired on NBC in 2016 to rave reviews. The show has received several nominations for various honors, including four Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series. For the most part, the show changed people’s lives, but Brown stood out because he was nominated for an Emmy every season till now. In 2017, he was awarded the award. Milo Ventimiglia, Chris Sullivan, Ron Cephas Jones, Jon Huertas, Eris Baker, and Faithe Herman are among the cast members of This is Us.
