The online series is mixing things up and moving to the streaming platform after five years of providing engaging storylines and building a solid fan base on YouTube.
Fans of the program have reacted negatively to this decision online. It’s unknown how the series will be regarded since season four is ready to premiere.
Urban Vision was the show’s creator, and the program is commonly referred to as TMC. On REDTV’s YouTube account, it was initially made available in October 2018. Since then, it has had three seasons and a few holiday-themed special editions.
The show, directed by Tola Odunsi, follows four male main characters as they negotiate their relationships and the trials of everyday life.
Since its launch, the first episode of the series has had over 1 million views and has won various honors, including the Gage Award for best online series of 2020 and the HAP honors (Hollywood & African Prestigious Awards) 2021 for best African series.
The show’s principal actors are Ayoola Ayolola, Baaj Adebule, Efa Iwara, and Daniel Etim Effiong. Female characters in the program include Sharon Ooja, Sola Sobowale, Adebukola Oladipupo, Nengi Adoki, and Shaffy Bello.
Seasons 1-3 of The Men’s Club are presently available to stream internationally on Prime Video ahead of their comeback in a few weeks.
