Senator Kalu remembered his late wife as a good woman dedicated to God and humankind.

Ifeoma Kalu, the wife of former Abia State Governor Senator Orji Kalu, has died at the age of 61.
On Monday, April 3, 2023, the federal politician announced the news in a post on his official Facebook page.
He wrote, “With a heavy heart and pain, we announce the passing on to eternal glory of Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu aged 61 years.
“She was a woman of virtue who was committed to the service of God and humanity. A memorial service in her honour is scheduled to be held in the United States of America (USA).
“Please remember her and loved ones in prayers at this difficult period. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.”
Senator Kalu hailed his late wife as a good lady who was committed to serving God and mankind in the post.
The announcement did not reveal the reason for her death. According to rumors, Ifeoma Kalu’s memorial ceremony would be placed in the United States of America.
During her husband’s governorship, Mrs. Kalu was well-known for her charity and contributions to the development of Abia State.
Mrs. Kalu’s death has elicited compassion and condolences from Nigerians of all political stripes. Several people have turned to social media to express their sorrow and console Senator Kalu and his family.
