The deluxe version of Rema’s self-titled debut album is now available.
By Omotayo Olutekunbi
‘Raves & Roses,’ Rema’s much-awaited debut album, was released on March 25, 2022. His popular singles “Calm Down” and “Soundgasm” helped the album to amass excellent streaming statistics.
Rema has returned with the deluxe edition of his debut album, “Calm Down,” more than a year after its release.
Six more songs are included in the extreme version, bringing the total number of songs on the album to twenty-two.
The newly released tracks include “Hov,” “Dunno Freestyle,” and “Charm,” as well as the chart-topping and record-breaking “Calm Down” remix with Selena Gomez, “Reason You,” and “Holiday,” which he previously released in 2023.
‘Raves & Roses’ ultra, which was released on April 28, has become the most streamed Afrobeats album on Spotify as a result of the addition of the Selena Gomez-assisted ‘Calm Down’ remix.
The remix bears the distinction of being the only African song to chart at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. The music video, which has received numerous certifications including Platinum in the US and UK and Diamond in France, is the most popular Afrobeats music video on YouTube.
