Rema had his first debut on the charts with his remix of “Calm Down,” which features Selena Gomez, and which made its debut on the American Billboard Hot 100.

The “Calm Down” remix makes its chart debut on the September 17th, 2022 list at position 91. This follows a respectable streaming run in America, which was significantly aided by Selena Gomez’s involvement in the song.

The decision to use Selena Gomez for the remix was obviously driven by the need to appeal to American audiences.

By all measures, Selena Gomez is a major Pop star. She has an astounding 341 million Instagram followers, 66 million Twitter followers, and 38 million monthly Spotify listeners. Four of her tracks are credited with helping her reach the 1 billion Spotify stream milestone.

For all parties concerned, the task was successfully completed because of her contribution to the remix, which gave the song the boost it needed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. They will also be looking for a strong run for the song on the charts.
