The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has rescheduled its hearing for Wednesday, May 10, 2023, to review petitions presented before it disputing the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.

On Monday, Kenneth Okonkwo, a Labour Party, LP spokesperson, announced on Twitter.

The tribunal began hearings on Monday, May 8, in Abuja, where Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) are contesting Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.

Okonkwo said the case was delayed until Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 2 p.m., following a brief pre-hearing trial.

The Adjournment will give the tribunal more time to consider the facts and arguments provided before rendering a final decision.
