Pasha Lee, a well-known Ukrainian actor and TV personality, died fighting his nation against Russian soldiers.

Lee died in Irpen while protecting his nation, according to a Facebook post by Sergiy Tomilenko, President of Ukraine’s National Union of Journalists.

Prior to his untimely demise, the actor, who had apparently joined the Territorial Defence Forces last week, had kept his followers updated through Instagram with photographs of himself in army gear and comments about uniting to combat the invasion, according to reports.

In one of his posts, he wrote: “For the last 48 hours there is an opportunity to sit down and take a picture of how we are being bombed, and we are smiling because we will manage and everything will be UKRAINE WE ARE WORKING !!!”

After acting in the comedy ‘Meeting of Classmates,’ the actor shot to fame. He was also known for his work on Hollywood blockbusters such as “The Hobbit,” “The Lion King,” and “Malibu Rescuers.”

So far, 14,000 people have perished as a result of the ongoing conflict, with foreigners, Ukrainians, and Russians among the victims. On February 24, the invasion, which has been widely criticised, began.
