Nigeria Tops Apple Music’s Top 100 Sub-Saharan Songs In 2022 

Nigerian artists dominated the Sub-Saharan top 100 Songs when Apple Music released its list of the top songs of 2022 on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

The most current list of the Top 100 Sub-Saharan Songs on Apple Music for 2022 is dominated by Afrobeats artists.

The top 10 songs on the list are all Nigerian hits from the last year, with Burna Boy’s “Last Last” coming in first.

The following songs fill out the top 5: Rema’s “Calm Down,” Lojay and Sarz’s “Monalisa,” Oxlade’s “Kulosa,” Fireboy’s “Peru,” and Oxlade’s “Kulosa.”

The number six position is taken by Kizz Daniel’s monster smash “Buga,” followed by Pheelz’s “Finesse” ft. BNXN at number seven, Burna Boy’s “For My Hand” at number eight, Joeboy’s “Alcohol” at number nine, and CKay’s worldwide hit “Love Nwantiti” at number ten.

There are 17 Nigerian songs in the top 20, including songs by 1da Banton, Omah Lay, Fave, Ruger, and Timaya.
