The official trailer for the upcoming “Harry & Meghan” documentary series has been released by Netflix.
As they reveal the other side of their well-known love story, the in-depth documentary series immerses you in the lives of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are typically rather reserved.
The six-part series delves into their early covert courting and the struggles that ultimately prompted them to relinquish their full-time jobs at the institution.
The trailer begins with a producer asking, “Why do you want to do this documentary?” before cutting to beautiful, previously unseen images of the duchess cuddling her growing baby and dancing with Harry at their wedding.
Before additional private shots of the couple’s marriage and difficulties are revealed to the audience, Harry is heard stating, “No one sees what goes on behind closed doors.”

“When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”? Meghan asks in the teaser’s last line.
Aside from historians who comment on the current situation of the British Commonwealth and the royal family’s connection with the media, the series also includes comments from friends and relatives, many of whom have never previously spoken publicly about what they saw.
The critically acclaimed, twice nominated for an Academy Award, and Emmy-winning filmmaker Liz Garbus is behind the camera for “Harry & Meghan.”
Executive producers include Erica Sashin, Mark Monroe, Dan Cogan, Liz Garbus, Ben Browning, Chanel Pysnik, Jon Bardin, Mala Chapple, and Angus Wall.
The couple’s Archewell Productions and Diamond Docs along with Story Syndicate produced the show.
The release of “Harry & Meghan” follows the couple’s multi-year Netflix contract, which was revealed in 2020, six months after they left their positions as senior royals and moved to California.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex expressed their desire for their collaboration with the streaming service to give viewers “hope and inspiration.”
