Workers in the National Assembly who are members of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) have called off their strike.
The workers declared an indefinite strike on Sunday, June 5, 2022, in response to the National Assembly management’s failure to pay a backlog of salaries and allowances.
The workers announced the strike in response to the National Assembly management’s failure to implement the existing Memorandum of Understanding signed by the NASC, NASS, and PASAN on April 13, 2021.
