The next instalment will be released in theatres in July 2023, directed by two-time MI director Christopher McQuarrie.

It’s no surprise that Tom Cruise will return to the big screen as Ethan Hunt. What has changed is that the much-anticipated seventh instalment finally has a title.
The film has been dubbed ‘Mission Impossible- Dead Reckoning Part One,’ according to Paramount Pictures.
Variety says that the title was revealed by the production group at its CinemaCon presentation on Thursday.
Christopher McQuarrie directed the fifth and sixth instalments of the franchise, ‘Rogue Nation’ and ‘Fallout.’
Originally scheduled to enter theatres this year, the film’s production was pushed back many times owing to the epidemic. It will now be released on July 14, 2023, with a sequel following the following year.
The ‘Mission Impossible’ franchise has generated over $3.5 billion at the global movie office since its premiere in 1996.
