Jonathan was not screened for the APC’s next presidential primary, according to the committee.
By Omotayo Olutekunbi
The All Progressives Congress screening committee denied examining former President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday.
The screening committee’s chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun, verified this on Friday when he delivered his report to APC National Chairman Abdullahi Adamu at a meeting of the Nationa Working Committee.
Odigie-Oyegun informed media that, contrary to popular belief, the former president was not present at the Transcorp Hilton for the exercise.
Oyegun’s response came after allegations that the APC has reduced its list of 23 presidential candidates from 23 to 13.
