INEC has promoted 1,985 of its employees across the country.

INEC stated in a bulletin acquired by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that the promotion followed the commission’s 2021 promotion examination and review.
The promotion was acknowledged as part of INEC’s commitment to the welfare and development of its employees.
According to the breakdown, 12 deputy directors on Grade Level 16 were promoted to Directors on Grade Level 17, while 78 assistant directors on Grade Level 15 were promoted to deputy directors on Grade Level 16.
92 officers were promoted to the assistant director cadre from Grade Levels 14 to 15, while 971 additional senior personnel were promoted to Grade Levels 07 to 14.
Between GL 03 and GL 06, the commission promoted 753, junior cadre employees.
