The well-known Afrobeats group P-Square has made no secret of the fact that they back Mr. Peter Obi, a candidate for the Labour Party.
Award-winning singer Brymo has also shown his support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress, whom he memorably referred to in a tweet as a “City Boy.”
Fans have reacted differently to Mercy Chinwo’s appearance at the event as predicted, with some questioning the propriety of having a gospel performer at a political gathering. Some of her followers believed that she was only carrying out her obligation as a professional entertainer and artist.
