FG Reintegrates 190 Stranded Nigerians from UAE

190 Nigerians who were left stranded in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have been repatriated by the Federal Government.

This is stated in a statement that was issued on Tuesday in Abuja by Mr. Bashir Garga, the zonal director of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) for the North Central.

He said that the returnees were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday at 5:57 a.m.

He claimed that a group of government representatives accompanied by NEMA met the returnees.

He stated that the returnees were sensitised to behave with dignity and responsibility upon their return to Nigeria, and that the appropriate agencies had profiled and documented them.

“The Federal Government urges all Nigerians, wherever they may be, to act as exemplary ambassadors of their country, by upholding the fundamental values of patriotism, rule of law, decency, and integrity,” the statement says. (NAN)
