Davido’s latest album, ‘Timeless,’ has broken streaming records in Nigeria and all over the world.

Nigerian megastar Davido released his fourth album on March 31, 2023. The highly anticipated 17-track album follows a rare quiet time from the award-winning singer who has established himself as Africa’s most powerful hitmaker.
‘Timeless’ broke many African and Nigerian records within 24 hours of its debut on music streaming platforms.
Following 24 3 days of its release, ‘Timeless’ has achieved the following.
1.’Timeless’ surpasses the previous record debut week total of 4.89M by Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini’ on Spotify Nigeria on its first day of release. On March 31, ‘Timeless’ had 4.91 million streams.
2. The album’s first single, ‘OVER DEM,’ smash the all-time record for most single-day streams for any song in Spotify Nigeria history, more than double the previous mark (460K).
3. ‘Timeless’ appeared in the Apple Music Album charts with 102 nations 24 hours after its release.
4. The album ‘Timeless’ smashes the record for the most first-day streams on Boomplay. — It’s 7.25 million streams on the first day break the previous record established by Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini’ (3.38M).
5. ‘Timeless’ leads the Apple Music Album list in 26 countries.
6. Timeless’ landed at No. 2 on the United Kingdom Apple Music list, a first for an African album.
