Daniel Kaluuya Will Not Reprise His Role In ‘Black Panther 2’

Daniel Kaluuya’s W’Kabi character in Black Panther looks to be saying goodbye, as the actor is not returning for the anticipated sequel.

The actor said that his absence was caused by schedule issues with Jordan Peele’s next movie Nope, according to a Rotten Tomatoes exclusive.

Filming for both movies started in June 2021. Wakanda Forever, on the other hand, encountered several setbacks and ended main photography in March 2022.

Kaluuya plays the Border Tribe warrior leader and Okoye’s (Danai Gurira) lover in the original movie.

The Academy Award-winning actor will appear in Jordan Peele’s Nope with Keke Palmer. The film follows the ranch’s keepers when they come upon a mysterious force that has an impact on both human and animal behavior.

Letitia Wright is supposedly the main character in Wakanda Forever, which is scheduled to debut in theaters on November 11, 2022. Martin Freeman, Winston Duke, Danny Spani, Angela Bassett, and Lupita Nyong’o are more celebrities who are repeating their roles. The cast now includes Michaela Coel, an Emmy winner.
