CKay’s ‘Love Nwantiti’ Goes 4 Times Platinum In The United States
CKay, a Nigerian worldwide phenomenon, has made history by having his single ‘Love Nwantiti’ certified four times platinum in the United States.

On January 13, 2023, the single “Love Nwantiti” by CKay became 4 times platinum, he confirmed via his Twitter account on Friday, February 20, 2023.
One of the tracks from CKay’s first EP, “CKay The First,” was published in 2020. A year later, it started gaining popularity on Tik Tok, and a year after that, it reached an unparalleled degree of global renown.
In several nations, including Portugal, France, India, and Spain, “Love Nwantiti” peaked at the top of the charts.
On Spotify and YouTube, the song has received over one billion listens, making it the most-played Afrobeats track ever.
“Love Nwantiti” reached platinum status in January 2022 and double platinum status in September of the same year.
‘Love Nwantiti’ holds the record for the most units sold by an Afrobeats song with over 4 million copies sold in the US. It is followed by Wizkid’s platinum-certified song “Essence.”
