Charles Odigbo has been named the head of the communication team for the Labour Party campaign team by Prof. Pat Utomi.
By Omotayo Olutekunbi
At a special press conference for the Peter Obi Campaign team held in Lagos on Thursday, Utomi made the statement.
He says that the team is made up of seasoned journalists who are enthusiastic about and devoted to the Nigerian people.
The “Big Tent Platform” for the Peter Obi campaign team, according to Utomi, would start a “Listening Clinic” on August 16.
He clarified that various political parties were involved in the Big Tent Platform and that their goal was to provide candidates that all of Nigeria would support.
According to Utomi, who is also a management specialist, the listening clinic would underline the fact that the way that governance of the people and for the people had to start with the sharing of what the people thought and felt.
He said, “This is how to fix their problems,” stressing that only the wearer of the shoes could identify the area where it was uncomfortable.
A communication staff that is skilled, enthusiastic, and dedicated to serving the community will manage the clinic.
Utomi further said that the Rescue Nigeria Project (RNP) members from every state in the South East will come together in a ceremony on Friday in Owerri, Imo, to announce their support for the Labour Party.
On behalf of the Labour Party, he stated he would be hosting RNP members.
“It is a point of convergence for the RNP, National leaders of Labour Party, Civil Society Movements, streams of social movements, and other political parties.
“They are all coming together so that we can change our country’s politics fundamentally for good,” he said.
