Barack Obama’s summer playlist includes Afrobeats superstar Tems, Burna Boy, BNXN, and Pheelz.

Former US President Barack Obama has been sharing summer playlists every year since 2015, featuring the music he’s currently listening to.
Pheelz’s “Finesse,” Burna Boy’s “Last Last,” and Tems’ “Vibe Out” are all included in Barack Obama’s summer playlist for 2022, which was unveiled on Tuesday, July 26.
Obama Summer Playlist with Afrobeats: The 44th US President’s well-known summer playlist has previously included an Afrobeats performer. Both Wizkid’s song “Essence” and Rema’s “Iron Man” appeared on the playlist in 2019.
Nigerian performers will appear more due to the Afrobeats genre’s continued rise.
