President Muhammadu Buhari met with Service Chiefs in Abuja on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, to discuss the Kaduna train incident.

While the exact number of casualties is unknown, numerous people are believed to have died.

The event occurred in Dutse village in Chikun Local Government Area (LGA) around 7:45 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022, just a few kilometers from the train’s final transit stop, Rigasa.

The bandits allegedly began fire on the train, shooting intermittently, and then gaining entry.

It was Nigeria’s second railway attack since October 2021, as the country battles armed insurgents in the north and bandits in the center and north who have kidnapped hundreds for ransom, leaving the public afraid.
