President Muhammadu Buhari conveyed his condolences on the passing of Olanrewaju Fasasi, also known as Sound Sultan.
In a statement published Monday through his media assistant, Femi Adesina, Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his condolences for the musician.
In a statement, Buhari hailed the 44-year-old singer’s death as a loss to the music business and Nigeria.
He went on to say that the songwriter “had an excellent life” and “achieved numerous career milestones.”
Sound Sultan, according to Buhari, contributed significantly to the growth of music and entertainment via his artistic brilliance, originality, and talent, which has inspired a large number of people.
Buhari went on to say that the deceased was compassionate, generous, and genuinely concerned about Nigerian concerns, as seen by his music and art.
He made significant contributions to the growth of local basketball in the nation as an enthusiastic basketball fan, according to the statement.
Buhari prayed for the soul of the deceased to rest in peace, as well as for his family, friends, and acquaintances.
