Kehinde Bankole, who stars in Netflix’s new limited series ‘Blood Sisters,’ has opened up about gaining weight for her part.
Bankole disclosed that she gained weight for her character Olayinka in a tweet earlier this week.
“Fitting day weight Vs Final shoot weight. A main personal character goal for me was for yinka to look much older than femi, fatter & definitely more domineering,” the actress wrote.
“Thanks to the guidance of the directors @kennethgyang & @biyibandele. Losing it back gradually #BloodSistersNetflix”

‘Blood Sisters,’ starring Ini Dima-Okojie and Nancy Isime, follows best friends on the run after one inadvertently murders the other’s violent fiancé.
Ramsey Nouah, Uche Jombo, Deyemi Okanlawon, Daniel Etim-Effiong, Toke Makinwa, and Ibrahim Suleiman feature in the Craig Freimond-directed series.
