Ayra Starr maintained her lead in the most recent TurnTable Top 100 publication, which was published on October 17th, 2022. Her hit single, “Rush,” reached a new peak of No. 2 on both the radio and TV charts, garnering 4.65 million streams (No. 1 on streaming for a third week) and 67.8 million airplay (No. 1 on airplay across Nigeria).

Young Jonn’s “Xtra Cool” soars from No. 13 to No. 3 in the top ten, while Asake’s “Joha” remains at No. 2 for a second week. The song had 2.34 million streams, and 55.3 million radio plays, and was No. 1 on the radio for a second week (No. 7 on streaming).

Young Jonn’s second top 10 entry in Nigeria is ‘Xtra Cool,’ following ‘Dada (Remix)’ with Davido. It surpasses “Dada (Remix)” to become Young Jonn’s highest charting single as an artist.

After making its debut and reaching its high at No. 3, Pheelz & Davido’s “Electricity” repeats at No. 4 for another week.

After dominating the chart for two weeks in a row, “Bandana” by Fireboy DML & Asake goes up to position 6-5.

Two previous No. 1 tracks from Asake’s “Organise,” which drops one spot to No. 6, and “Terminator,” which drops four spots to No. 7, are at Nos. 6 and 7, respectively. Bella Shmurda & Omah Lay’s “Philo,” which is down eight spots, is at Nos.

Victony & Tempoe’s “Soweto” rounds out this week’s top ten at position No. 9; the song had 1.5 million streams (ranking No. 16 on streaming) and 49.6 million radio plays (No. 3 on radio).

Victony’s highest charting single in Nigeria as a lead artist is “Soweto,” which dethrones “Kolomental” at No. 10 on the now-defunct TurnTable Top 50. The performer reached its highest point with “Different Size” at No. 8.

This is Tempoe’s first top 10 entry as a billed artist, breaking new ground. Back in Uni by Blaqbonez & JAE5 premieres at No. 10 and has a radio reach of 32 million (No. 10 on radio) and 1.69 million streams (No. 11 on streaming).

The Nigeria Top 100 chart rankings are determined by a weighted algorithm that takes into account audio and video streaming from within Nigeria as well as exposure on radio and satellite TV in the nation. It is Nigeria’s first and only official standard music chart and features all of the country’s musical activities, including the official No. 1 single.
