The administration of Governor lfeanyi Ugwuanyi has
expressed willingness to promote small business owners with the registration of 6,606 businesses owned
by Enugu people with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) through the Enugu SME Centre.
The move is in line with Governor Ugwuanyi’s implementation of CAC formalization and matching
grant’s policy as contained in the 2021 budget of Enugu SME centre,
The Special Adviser to the Governor on SME Development, Hon. Arinze Chi|o—0ffiah in a statement made available to Dome TV News, said the registration is to help save money and the stress involved in CAC registration to the beneficiaries.
Chilo-Offiah urged all the beneficiaries to make good use of the golden opportunity presented by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi .
“The issuance of the first batch of the CAC Certificate from the CAC Formalization Grant began on Thursday 15th April 2021, and it was huge success”.
“By the end of May 2021,the distribution of 6,606 certificate will be completed.
“If you don’t make the final cut off, you can reapply under the Enugu State CAC Formalization Matching Grant that would soon kick’off”,
“We thank our Governor, his Excellency Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwanyi and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) for making it possible for Ndi Enugu to benefit from this scheme, and for also approvmg the Enugu State CAC
Formalization Matching Grant for 2021 Budget of the Enugu SME Center, which would soon kick’off for business owners and youth who didn’t make the final cut
(also for new applicants) to register their businesses”. He said.
One of the beneficiaries Mr Ozoene whose company is Bengraphics Enterprises thanked the Enugu SME Center and the State Government forthe wonderful opportunity, promising to make good use it.
