According to Blessing Egbe, the drama series’ writer, producer, and director, a “Lekki Wives” reunion is now in the works.
The lifestyle and issues that many ladies on the Island of Lagos, Lekki, have inspired the creation of “Lekki Wives.”
The cast reunion was announced by Blessing on her Instagram page ten years after the first episode of the three seasoned drama series.
A picture of the actors and the caption “#LekkiWivestheReunion is coming” appeared on Blessing Egbe’s Instagram page after she was recently accepted to join the Directors category of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
A must-watch and binge-worthy program, it stars Katherine Obiang, Joselyn Dumas, Kiki Omeili, Keira Hewatch-Peace, Adaora Ukoh, and Chinonso Young.
Although a release date for the anticipated sequel has not yet been established, the filmmaker’s post implied that it is in progress.
