When Fayemi becomes Nigeria’s president, he has committed to ensure youth empowerment.

Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi has publicly stated his desire to run for president in 2023 on the platform of the governing All Progressives Congress.
He made the announcement on Wednesday in Abuja.
When Fayemi is elected president, he has committed to prioritize youth empowerment.In addition, he promised to “retool the Armed Forces and security services.”
He also pledged decentralisation to bring the administration closer to the people.
He vowed to handle Nigeria’s security challenges by leading the military on the front lines in the fight against robbers and terrorists.
According to the governor, he chose to run after consulting with political allies, traditional rulers, and other APC stakeholders.
So far, the APC presidential campaign has attracted 12 candidates. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Minister of Transportation Mr Rotimi Amaechi, and Senator Rochas Okorocha are among them.
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Dr Chris Ngige, Minister of Labour and Productivity; Mr Chukwuemeka Nwajuba, Minister of State for Education; Governor David Umuahi of Ebonyi State, and Mr Adams Oshiomhole are among the others.
