The Naira saw a surge in value on Tuesday, marking a significant appreciation at the official market, where it traded at N1,382.95 against the dollar. Data sourced from the FMDQ's official trading platform revealed a strengthening of the Naira by N25.09, or 1.78% compared to the previous day's rate of N1,408 versus the dollar.Furthermore, the total turnover in currency exchange rose to $245.58 million on Tuesday, showing a notable increase from the $222.15 million recorded on Monday.In the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, the Naira fluctuated between N1,486 and N1,300 in its exchange with the dollar.According to reports, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) made a significant move earlier on Tuesday during its 294th Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting.
