Remember that CNN reporter that got his press pass to the Whit House suspended by Trump because he asked him (Trump) a question he couldn't answer? He became the journalist of the century by that single act and it seems like the judge ruled in his favor.
A federal judge had on Friday ordered the White House to reinstate the press credentials of CNN reporter Jim Acosta, whose pass was revoked due to a heated exchange with President Donald Trump.
The judge granted CNN's request order that would temporarily reinstate Jim's White House press pass.
The ruling from Judge Timothy Kelly, who was appointed by Trump, was the first victory for CNN in the ongoing case.
"I want to thank all of my colleagues in the press who supported us this week, and I want to thank the judge for the decision he made today," Acosta said outside U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.
"Let's go back to work!" he gleefully added.
Judge Timothy Kelly issued a temporary restraining order that requires the White House to restore Acosta’s access until a full hearing is held, according to the network.
CNN and other media groups, including Trump-endorsed Fox News, backed the lawsuit which claimed the revoking of Acosta’s pass violated constitutional guarantees of a free press.
Trump had better look out for the media this time...
